Tips on Writing a Resume

If you are in the market for a new job for whatever reason you will need to touch up (or even create) your resume (or CV as it is commonly known in the UK) so you may need some top tips on writing a resume which are relevant to what employers are looking for in 2014

If you don’t know what a resume is – it is a short document which is meant to “sum you up” and outline your suitability for the job you are applying for. A resume is relevant and necessary wherever you are on your career – from your first job that mid-life career change, so it is important that it hits all the right notes to get you through the door for that interview

If you were in the market for a job 10-15 years ago then chances are you had a fairly boring, straightforward resume which did little more than “tell the story”.   What recruiters are looking for has changed, so what you need are some tips on writing a resume which are relevant in 2014 and beyond
